Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for refining and evolving the North America brand marketing strategy
- The candidate will be responsible for leading large-scale and complex marketing initiatives and campaigns, including the development of strategy, cross-functional marketing plans, and execution of integrated omni-channel campaigns.
- The candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional partner enrolment, managing key gates, and ensuring partnership integrations and partnership-led moments are properly resourced, planned, and executed.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing strong and clear creative briefs that inspire creative teams and drive impact, including insights development, competitor and market trends, category opportunities, campaign objectives, KPIs, target audience definition, and messaging hierarchy.
- The candidate will be responsible for supporting creative development with internal or external agencies by providing strategic guidance rooted in clear business and brand objectives, and acting as a key stakeholder on-set.
- The candidate will be responsible for leading large-scale, complex marketing initiatives, including strategy development, cross-functional marketing planning, and execution of integrated omni-channel campaigns.
- The candidate will be responsible for informing global brand strategies with regional insights and developing localized marketing plans and messaging architecture that guide the consumer journey for deploying global initiatives in North America.
- The candidate must collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Ecommerce, Digital, Social, PR, Community, and Sports Marketing to execute best-in-class campaigns and enhance the consumer experience across all touchpoints.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing project roadmaps, timelines, budget tracking, and deliverables lists with support from a Brand Specialist, while setting KPIs, measuring performance, and reporting results and learnings.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing, along with 8–10 years of experience in marketing or agency roles within retail, apparel, sport, or product marketing sectors, with global market experience or knowledge.
- The candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of brand and product marketing, leveraging guest and product insights to drive omnichannel initiatives from inception through execution.
- The candidate must be an energetic, creative thinker with a strong grasp of future marketing trends, culture, and competitive dynamics.
- The candidate must have extensive experience in creative brief development and collaboration with creative teams and agencies, including on-set participation.
- The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and rally cross-functional teams as a passionate storyteller.
- The candidate must have experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) and timeline development.
- The candidate must be adaptable and positive in managing changing priorities, deliverables, and business needs.
- The candidate must possess strong strategic thinking skills and comfort with ambiguity, along with experience preparing materials for executive audiences.
- The candidate must actively engage with trends in sport, fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment culture.
- The candidate will be required to demonstrate experience working with professional athletes, celebrity talent, or top-tier influencers, which is considered a valued asset.
- A passion for sports marketing, particularly in tennis and golf, is considered an asset.
