Job Description

  • The full-time position (approximately 37.5 hours per week) offers support to the advisors and the clients’ operation department.
  • Responsible for responding to clients’ questions and service requests via telephone, email, or meeting.
  • Provide support with setting up new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and perform everyday office administration.
  • To assist with follow-ups to any financial transactions and facilitate inter-departmental coordination.
  • The position will be working within an atmosphere of teamwork, commitment to the client, and high performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support drafting materials related to client events.
  • Provide proactive response to client issues and concerns as well as creating solution options in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Timely response to account requests and inquiries.
  • Support business planning, client data segmentation, and service program development.
  • Identify opportunities for referrals and asset consolidation.
  • Provide assistance in helping to acquire new clients and creating referral relationships with other entities.
  • Support trading and portfolio rebalancing efforts.

Requirements

  • Must be approved as a Registered Representative (RR) by IIROC.
  • Must have passed the WME or IMT course.
  • A university degree is required.
  • Excellent English communication skills- both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with office tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Investment industry experience of 4+ years is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and client service skills.
