Job Description

  • A delivery position serving rural and suburban areas using a personal vehicle
  • On-call relief role with no fixed weekly hours

Responsibilities

  • Sort and prepare mail for delivery
  • Collect and deliver mail items across assigned routes
  • Keep all mail items secure during transit
  • Handle services like address updates and damaged mail processing
  • Wear company ID and keep it visible during deliveries
  • Lift and carry heavy mail items when required
  • Drive safely in different weather and traffic conditions

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Class 5 or G driver’s licence
  • Must have a clean and satisfactory driving record
  • Must own a vehicle with at least 50 cu ft cargo capacity
  • The vehicle must have automatic transmission and power windows
  • The vehicle must support a rooftop sign with a power outlet
  • Vehicle measurements must meet required height and width specifications
  • A hatchback or fifth door is preferred for larger deliveries
  • Must have proper vehicle insurance for work use
