Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to inspect products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
  • The candidate will be required to manually select and transport material to the work area, or to use a crane or hoist.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep the workplace clean and safe.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in French language.
  • The candidate must have a secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have Overhead Crane Certification.
  • The candidate must able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must be punctual.
  • The candidate should be hardworking.

Work Site Environment

  • The candidate must be able to work in cold/refrigerated, dusty, and hot conditions.
  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

  • The candidate will be required to work in the metal product fabrication industry.

Experience and Specialization

Equipment and Machinery Experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience with hand tools, lifting devices, overhead cranes, and shears.

  • The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
  • The candidate should be willing to work overtime if necessary.
  • The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
