Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for performing intermediate-level technical field survey work.
- The candidate will be responsible for operating surveying instruments and associated equipment for preliminary, construction, and topographical surveys.
- The candidate will participate in directing the work of Survey Assistants.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must demonstrate a strong team-player attitude.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- The candidate should possess a diploma in Geomatics or a related area of study or be in the process of obtaining one.
- The candidate must have a background in field survey work, preferably in a municipal environment.
- The candidate must have hands-on experience using a variety of surveying equipment.
- The candidate must possess strong computer skills.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The candidate should hold a valid driver’s license.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are registered with, or have the ability to register with, the Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of BC.
