Job Description
- Stock Unloader Associate supports receiving operations, inventory movement and product replenishment throughout the store.
- This is a permanent hourly position with Walmart Canada.
- The role contributes to inventory flow between receiving areas, storage locations and sales departments.
- Associates help maintain organized stock areas and customer ready shelves.
- The position combines physical work with customer service support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and reset receiving areas for incoming deliveries.
- Unload trailers and process incoming store products.
- Complete live unloading of remaining deliveries.
- Move pallets of stock to designated sales floor locations.
- Take care of refrigerated and frozen products.
- Help with restocking shelves and display areas.
- Provide customer service when in need.
- Label and place excess stock in assigned storage areas.
- Follow company safety policies and workplace procedures.
- Complete safety sweep logs as required.
- Maintain secure displays and fixtures throughout the store.
Requirements
- Can manage a busy workload in a fast moving retail environment.
- Can remain productive during overnight work periods when required.
- Can stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Can bend, lift and move inventory, equipment or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Can perform repetitive duties involving replenishment, zoning and stock organization.
- Can maintain attention to detail during daily tasks.
- Can follow workplace safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Can work effectively with customers and fellow team members.
