Job Description

  • The candidate must supervise staff (apprentices, stagehands, design team, etc.).
  • The candidate must assign duties to sales workers.

  • The candidate will be responsible for selling merchandise.

  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing cash.
  • The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
  • The candidate must be able to use computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
  • The candidate must provide advice about merchandise.
  • The candidate must conduct sales transactions via Internet-based electronic commerce.
  • The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services desired for purchase, rental, or lease.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The ability to communicate in Spanish is an asset for the candidate.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
