Job Description
- Candidates will have to collaborate with the health care team to develop and implement a patient care plan and provide education and support to all involved in the continuum of care.
- Candidates will have to share their expertise and experience with other healthcare professionals and strive to integrate research into practice.
- Candidates will also have to support their professional development and gain experience in providing Critical Care services to infants and children and their families.
- Candidates will also have to provide diagnostic and therapeutic support in the treatment.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a diploma from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Candidates must have completed a BSc or equivalent to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have professionalism and attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Candidates must have completed the registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario.
Work setting
- Candidates with Neonatal/pediatric ICU experience are preferred for this post.
