- Candidates working in this post are responsible for providing academic leadership and developing an effective learning environment for students.
- They’re also appointed at this post to design, revise, and update our curriculum working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post for teaching assigned courses, consulting with contributors defining course objectives and evaluating the extent to which students meet these objectives.
- Applicants for this post are also required to utilize a variety of instructional media /resources and provide individualized instruction where necessary.
Job requirement
- Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Nursing and a PhD in Nursing along with a minimum of 5 years as a Registered Nurse in acute, long-term care, or community settings to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of previous teaching experience at a post-secondary level or adult training experience to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have a current, unrestricted registration as an RN or RN(EC) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- They must attain the ability to work in a team environment and to foster the same with students and colleagues to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have excellent written/oral communication, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have evidence of commitment to student success and academic excellence to be preferred for this post.
- They must have networking building and liaising abilities to get preferred for this post.
