Job Description

  • The candidate must report directly to Senior Manager, Wholesale Production.
  • The candidate will act as the key contact for embellishment partners during production in North America.
  • The candidate must analyze vendor capabilities and capacity to ensure strategic order allocation.
  • The candidate must develop new embellishment techniques aligned with market trends.
  • The candidate will build a production Time and Action (T&A) Calendar per season and ensure cross-functional partners are aligned with key dates and regularly updating the T&A.
  • The candidate must monitor INDC, development, buy ready, order placement, and production schedule to maintain required ex-factory dates.
  • The candidate will schedule weekly meetings with embellishment partners to review production status updates.
  • The candidate will lead costing negotiations and strategic sourcing efforts to achieve the target price.
  • The candidate must develop and maintain SOPs to support operational excellence.
  • The candidate will independently resolve issues in collaboration with cross-functional partners and develop improvement plans when issues arise, ensuring successful execution to completion.
  • The candidate must provide training to vendors on production and logistics policies, processes, and IT systems.
  • The candidate must implement new processes and systems for assigned vendors as required.
  • The candidate must arrange and review vendor scorecards regularly.
  • The candidate will take the lead in coordinating and managing various Production Org project initiatives and consistently bring creative ideas for initiatives and processes.
  • The candidate will maintain close working relationships with embellishment partners and cross-functional partners to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
  • The candidate will send and receive packages.
  • The candidate will visit factories for production tracking and validate production planning, output, and efficiency.
  • The candidate will travel to offshore production facilities as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Design, Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • An MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
  • The candidate must have 8+ years of experience in the apparel industry, preferably in Production and Sourcing.
  • The candidate must have strong knowledge of apparel construction, fabrics, trims, decoration techniques, and costing.
  • The candidate should have experience in wholesale business and campus/teams, which is strongly preferred.
  • The candidate must be a proven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities.
  • The candidate must be able to work autonomously as well as cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
  • The candidate must have strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and structured problem-solving ability.
  • The candidate must have facilitation and issue resolution skills with the ability to drive consensus.
  • The candidate must be able to work in changing environments with limited guidance and meet deadlines.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • The candidate must have a passion for learning new things.
  • The candidate must acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for their actions and decisions.
