Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to sort, distribute and process mail into appropriate classifications.
- They’re also appointed to provide customers with information and forms working at this post.
- Candidates are also appointed to address delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly.
Job requirement
- They must have completed high school or provincial equivalency or experience in business administration to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must ensure flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
- Candidates must have training or experience interacting with the public in a retail or service environment, including sales and cash transactions to be eligible for this post.
- They must have an understanding of general or post office accounting systems to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail and stand for extended periods.
