Job description
- All candidates will be responsible for answers and triages member phone calls and directs members to product location.
- They have to collect the appropriate patient information and input prescriptions into the pharmacy software system accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- They also have to fill prescriptions by retrieving stock bottles, counting medications, and labelling under the pharmacist’s supervision.
- They have to maintain patient confidentiality at all times and follow safety and security procedures at all times while completing these duties.
- Candidates have to assist patients at the counter, retrieve prescriptions and also process register transactions as per the provided procedures.
- They have to communicate with patients regarding OTC products and also provide prompt and courteous patient service.
- Candidates are also responsible for identifying and recruiting patients eligible for the medication review program and assisting the pharmacist in performing medication review services.
Job requirement
- All candidates must be enrolled in an approved pharmacy program.
- They also must be registered with the respective College as a pharmacy student.
- They also must have community pharmacy experience.
