Job description
- Candidates will ensure prescription safety prioritizing technical functions to Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants.
- They will also provide guidance and supervision to Pharmacy Students, Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants.
- They will initiate care plans, follow up and proper documentation
- They will collect relevant patient, drug and disease information.
- They will ensure that all patients are offered and receive professional clinical services.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- They must be a licensed pharmacist in the province of responsibility
- They are in control of continuing Care consulting experience.
- They must have injection certification.
- They should be a team player committed to customer service excellence.
Work setting
- Candidates must have the ability to provide patient counseling for new therapy and provide education to patients/caregivers.
- They are accountable for working as part of an interdisciplinary health care team with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and nursing home administrators.
- They are in charge of providing medication related education to nursing staff at continuing care facilities.
