Job Description
- The candidate will act as a technical P&C subject matter expert for new and recurring initiatives to ensure seamless and timely delivery within Workday, specifically related to core and advanced compensation setup, including intake, analysis, prioritization, deployment planning, testing, tracking, progress reporting, and implementation.
- The candidate will support the configuration, testing, and deployment of year-end and mid-year compensation cycles in Workday.
- The candidate is required to manage requests for digital enhancements from cross-functional stakeholders through an established intake and prioritization process.
- The candidate will translate business requirements into functional requirements and influence requirements to reflect Workday capabilities.
- The candidate will conduct root cause analysis and research to provide solution recommendations to peers and stakeholders.
- The candidate is required to collaborate with People Technology teams to support solution configuration in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
- The candidate will create and maintain systems configuration requirement documents pertaining to new or changing functionality.
- The candidate will communicate cross-pillar dependencies to the P&C Systems Manager, Scrum Leads, peer Functional Analysts, and IT People Systems team to mitigate risks in downstream systems.
- The candidate will create and update knowledge base articles, job aids, and training materials to support change management resulting from system or process changes.
- The candidate will create reports and conduct regular data audits to mitigate data quality issues within the core system of record.
- The candidate will identify opportunities to optimize people systems, including data, processes, and functionality.
- The candidate will perform vendor management activities including ticket escalation, reproducing system errors, and maintaining issue logs.
- The candidate will coach and train People Experience Centre team members to ensure they can confidently support the business with ticket requests.
- The candidate will support P&C partners and stakeholders with training and day-to-day questions and answers.
- The candidate will resolve ServiceNow and Workday inbox ticket escalations and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must have 3+ years of experience working in HR Operations as an HR Analyst or in a similar role.
- The candidate must possess deep subject matter expertise in advanced compensation configuration within Workday, including experience supporting annual merit, bonus, and stock compensation cycles.
- The candidate must have knowledge of Workday business processes including onboarding, job changes, leave of absence requests, one-time payments, and terminations.
- The candidate must have moderate knowledge of ServiceNow and experience creating knowledge-based articles.
- The candidate must possess strong requirements management skills, including elicitation, scoping, prioritization, and risk and issue management.
- The candidate must possess working knowledge of Jira and Confluence platforms.
- The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- The candidate must have experience working in both Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
- The candidate must have experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues identified through audits and testing activities.
- The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple concurrent streams of work and meet tight deadlines.
- The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills when interacting with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- The candidate must be highly organized, detail oriented, and possess strong analytical thinking skills.
- The candidate must be confident creating and delivering training sessions and communications materials.
