Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks in order to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • The candidate will be expected to maintain professionalism in customer service.
  • The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • The candidate must load and unload goods.
  • The candidate must use maps and other trip planning tools.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections as well as oversee all vehicle aspects.
  • The candidate must maintain a record of all items received and delivered.
  • The candidate must deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
  • The candidate will be expected to deliver newspapers and flyers to homes and businesses.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate must sort packages.
  • The candidate must be able to follow directions and read maps.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in French language.
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a Class 5/5F/G licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate should be dependable.

Work site environment

  • The candidate will be required to work in the motor vehicle industry.
  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

  • The candidate must be willing to relocate to the specified location.
  • The candidate must work for a courier company.
