Job Description

The candidate must sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
The candidate will be expected to perform other labouring and fundamental tasks.
The candidate will be expected to clean machines and surrounding work areas.
The candidate will be required to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
The candidate will be required to check and weigh materials and products.
The candidate will be responsible for starting and stopping the machine as needed, as well as refilling packaging material.
The candidate will be required to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.
The candidate will be expected to perform routine checks to ensure that the machine is operational.
The candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on the machine as well as keeping the equipment and work area clean.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the proper packaging is used for specific product lines and that packaging is completed in accordance with company standards.
The candidate must inspect products and packaging for basic quality defects.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of working experience in similar industry.
The candidate must have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
The candidate must be self-motivated and able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

The candidate will be required to work in dusty, hot or cold environments.
