Job Description

  • The candidate must transform digitized images using retouching systems, graphic palettes, or specialized software.
  • The candidate will be responsible for designing and layouting pages.
  • The candidate will be responsible for producing project designs.
  • The candidate must arrange for project printing and publication.
  • The candidate must use peripherals to digitize images and transform them using retouching systems, graphic palettes, or specialized software.
  • The candidate will be responsible for performing the layout, page make-up, and placement using the conceptual mock-ups provided.
  • The candidate will be responsible for producing computerized images and drawings.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.

Computer and technology knowledge

  • Production art includes signs or billboards, print advertising, publication art, multimedia, and animation.

Area of specialization

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about graphic design, technical illustration, commercial art, and general interior design.
