Job Description
- A Mortgage Specialist gives help to consumers by offering customized mortgage options and giving them advice on home loans.
- He/she/they works full-time (~37.5 hours/week) and is constantly on the move to be accessible to clients whenever and wherever they want.
- Acquires and nurtures customer relationships, as well as community contacts, real estate agents, and internal Royal Bank of Canada partners, to expand the market share.
- Gives tailored advice, knows the client thoroughly, and suggests the most suitable mortgage products.
- Brings new business by local networking and using already existing connections in the community.
- Implements the client-centered approach and adjusts the professional goals in accordance with the customer’s needs and the company’s flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Establish community relationships for sourcing new business sources/customers.
- Develop a Loyal Customer Following through quality mortgage advisory services and solutions.
- Partner with Royal Bank of Canada’s partners for expanded business growth.
- Proactively provide appropriate financial advice to a client, based on their unique needs.
- Remain mobile and flexible to accommodate a client’s preference for meeting in their preferred location.
Requirements
- At least three years of consistent, successful sales experience ideally in the financial industry or real estate industry.
- Extensive local network which will lead to referrals and introducing new prospects into the organisation.
- Proven track record of creating, developing, and sustaining relationships based on trust with clients and maintaining these client relationships over time.
- Experience as someone who lends mortgage.
- Good presentation skills
