Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions.
- The candidate will be responsible for repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.
- The candidate will be responsible for fabricating parts required for overhaul, maintenance, or set up.
- The candidate must perform routine maintenance workย on machinery.
- The candidate must operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
- The candidate will be responsible for assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
- The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in Other trades, or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, Construction Millwright Trade Certification, and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
- The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work site environment
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
Work setting
- The work setting deals with machinery installation, maintenance, repairing, and machine set-up.
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience with electrical and electronic controls, heat exchangers, high-speed packaging equipment, power tools, and pumps/compressors.

- The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check.

- The candidate must have their own vehicle.
- The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.

- The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
- The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
- The candidate should be willing to work overtime if necessary.
