Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to ensure that patients are correctly identified and explain the procedure to patients working at this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to assist patients to facilitate transport and positions and also ensure that all patient needs are fulfilled as they arise.
- Candidates at this post are required to ensure patient confidentiality at all times and also ensure that materials, procedure area, and patients are prepared for the procedure working at this post.
- Applicants must ensure complete and accurate patient screening and imaging quality standards working at this post.
- They’re also required at this post to perform bone density scans and total body composition scans in the allocated time.
- Candidates for this post are required to assist in orientating and evaluating new employees to routines and standards.
Job requirement
- Candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical radiography program.
- They must have current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have completed current MRT registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must be able to provide strong professional judgment, be organized and able to manage their time effectively to be preferred for this post.
- They must have a strong problem solver and the ability to critically think and analyze data to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- They’re appointed to participate in educational programs, training, and workshops deemed appropriate working at this post.
