Job Description

The candidate must build pallets.
The candidate must be capable of loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
The candidate must ship orders.
The candidate will be responsible for picking orders and stock.
The candidate must weigh materials and goods.
The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.
The candidate will be responsible for storing cargo and materials.
The candidate must transport and distribute materials and goods.
The candidate must organize and keep inventory.
The candidate must organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to handle weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Work setting

The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy and busy environment with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, as well as many forklift truck drivers moving pallets between shelves.
The candidate must work in the lumber/forestry industry.
