Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to oversee the operations of ITSM and Asset Management services. 
  • They’re also appointed to ensure high-quality service delivery, adherence to SLAs, and continuous improvement of service performance. 
  • Candidates are also appointed for budget management, including planning and monitoring, reporting, resource management etc.
  • Candidates are also appointed to develop, recommend, and administer the annual budget for the section, and ensure that expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations.
  • They’re also appointed to build collaborative relationships with City stakeholders and senior management. 
  • Candidates working in this post are also appointed to assist them in recognizing where Technology Services can add value to, transform or support program operations.
  • They’re also appointed to build high performance and resiliency through trust, transparency, and respect.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must acquire a dedicated bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications 
  • They must have agile Scrum Master experience with Scrum Master certification to be preferred for this post. 
  • They must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Service Management and Asset Management to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must have a proven track record of success in developing and executing ITSM and Asset Management strategies to be eligible for this post.  
  • They must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • They must ensure the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience.

  • Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation to be eligible for this post.
