Job Description
- Candidates will have to develop plans and manage the regulatory and educational skills activities undertaken by Environmental health services.
- Candidates will have to provide on-going leadership, and supervision to staff and students to ensure high quality service delivery.
- Candidates will lead the planning, development and implementation under the public health and safety act.
- Candidates will develop and maintain an information management system to track and monitor the environment.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in environmental public health recognized by the Canadian Institute of Public Health inspectors.
- Candidates must have experience in leading and supervising a team.
- Candidates must have experience in financial management and would be considered an asset in this role.
Work setting
- Candidates with Canadian indigenous ancestry and Yukon First Nation Ancestry are preferred for this post.
