Job Description

  • The candidate must read and interpret the Job Control Sheet, assemble the correct products, and use mail processing equipment to complete job requirements.
  • The candidate will be required to operate high-speed intelligent inserters with inline folders using pre-printed OMR marks for document collation, selective inserting, and front and back end camera verification, and use JetVision software to reconcile and report completed jobs.
  • The candidate will be required to use mail preparation equipment including high-speed inkjet labellers, offline folders, cutters, sealers, and envelope openers.
  • The candidate must monitor inventory.
  • The candidate must accurately reconcile the Job Control Sheet for job verification, Canada Post permit, and customer billing.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must possess a Grade 12 diploma or an equivalent qualification such as GED.
  • The candidate must have 2 years’ experience and/or training in a mechanical and computerized production environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency in work produced.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The candidate must demonstrate excellent team collaboration, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • The candidate must possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and follow technical mechanical documentation.
  • The candidate must load and unload trucks, operate forklift and power jack, and stack and wrap pallets.
  • The candidate must be located in British Columbia at the time of employment.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

  • The candidate must be capable of lifting up to 20 kg for extended periods of time.
