Job description

  • The candidate will required to provide personal care to the clients.
  • The candidate will required to provide companionship to the clients.
  • The candidate will required to prepare and serve nutritious meals to the clients.
  • The candidate will required to plan therapeutic diets and menus for the clients.
  • The candidate will required to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties for the clients.
  • The candidate will required to launder clothing and household linens for the clients.
  • The candidate will required to collect specimens from the clients.
  • The candidate will required to administer bedside and personal care for the clients..
  • The candidate will required to administer medications to the clients.
  • The candidate will be required to assist the clients in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
  • The candidate will be required to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • The candidate will be required to give care to elderly people.
  • The candidate will be required to give care to persons with physical disabilities.
  • The candidate will be required to give care to females.
  • The candidate will be required to assume full responsibility of the household in absence of the employer.
  • The candidate will be required to handle weight of around 81 and 100 kg (177-220 lbs).
  • The candidate will be required to handle heavy loads.
  • The candidate will be required to do work that is physically demanding.
  • The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing and walking.
  • One might also have to engage in a lot of bending, crouching and kneeling, which the candidate should be comfortable with.
  • The candidate will be required to work in the employer’s or client’s home.
  • Room and board will be provided to the candidate.
  • The work setting will be an Urban area.
  • No smoking will be allowed in the work premises.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • The candidate should have equivalent experience in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have an experience in Nursing and other related activities.
  • The candidate should have a Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • The candidate should have a Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • The candidate should have a minimum experience of one to two years in the concerned field.
  • The candidate should have a thorough Criminal record check.
  • The candidate should have reference from trusted sources.
  • No smoking is allowed in the work site environment.
  • The candidate should be willing to travel.
  • Public transportation is available for the candidate to use.
  • The candidate should be able to work under pressure.
  • The candidate should be able to handle repetitive tasks.
  • The tasks will be physically demanding and hence the candidate should be comfortable with it..
