Job Description
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery.
- Candidates are also accountable for starting their day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries working at this post.
- People who applied for this post are required to load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must attain the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day working at this post.
- They must attain the ability to work in all types of weather and the availability to be on-call to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- People must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and French.
- They must attain experience in customer service to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have experience making deliveries or working as a driver to be considered as an asset for this post.
