Job description

  • Candidates will have capacity for Supervising, organizing, assigning and distributing workload among assigned.
  • Candidates have to ensure the department operates in a manner that is efficient and effective, coaching and mentoring assigned staff to foster a positive atmosphere that supports team building, collaboration and shared learning, performing administrative responsibilities, to facilitate the improvement of processes,/procedures.
  • They are responsible for participating in professional development, teaching/educational activities, safety and quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellence in the provision of services.

Job requirement

  • Candidates should have membership with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) required.
  • They must have leadership or project management experience preferred.
  • They will attain experience in maintaining high quality practice in the clinical and community environment.
  • They should have the ability to provide duties in a professional manner and produce high quality work.
  • They have to exercise and initiative and good judgement with the ability to multi-task.
  • They have to Compliance with confidentiality requirements.

Work setting

  • Candidates must have effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • They must have knowledge of UHN and/or departmental policies.
  • They will have client service oriented with the ability.
