Job Description

The candidate must assist with landscape construction.
The candidate must tie and secure plants.
The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
The candidate must cut the grass.
The candidate must rake and collect trash.
The candidate must remove garbage and litter.
The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
The candidate must lay sod or seed.
The candidate must plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs.
The candidate must apply fertilizers.
The candidate must be able to maintain and repair equipment.
The candidate will water and maintain plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

The candidate should work as a landscape contractor, creating and constructing large and small projects for residential and commercial properties.
The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
The candidate should work in the landscape maintenance division, which is the art and profession of keeping a landscape healthy, clean, safe, and attractive, usually in a garden, yard, park, institutional setting, or estate.
