Northern Health Region in The Pas, MB is seeking a self-motivated L.P.N. (licensed practical nurse). We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Term or contractFull time position. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing.
• The candidate must conduct specimen collection in accordance with protocols.
• The candidate must take vital signs.
• The candidate must provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
• The candidate must monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.

Work Setting

• The candidate’s relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee’s relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company’s offices or other work locations as required.
