Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of reports.
  • The candidate must develop policies and procedures for evaluating credit and loan applications.
  • The candidate will be expected to develop and implement accounting and financial control policies and procedures.
  • The candidate will be expected to develop and implement policies and procedures for the purchase and sale of financial products.
  • The candidate will be required to authorise loan and credit applications.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide advice to senior management.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations.
  • The candidate will be expected to network in order to build business relationships, promote the sale of loan, investment, and other banking services, and attract corporate and individual clients.
  • The candidate must plan and control budgets and expenditures.
  • The candidate will be required to calculate and set loan interest rates.
  • The candidate will be expected to hire, train, direct, and motivate employees.
  • The candidate will be expected to plan, organise, direct, control, and evaluate the branch operations of a bank, trust company, credit union, or similar financial institution, or of a department within such an institution in charge of administering personal and commercial loans, purchasing and selling securities, operating investment funds, administering trusts, settling estates, or other related activities.
  • The candidate will be expected to analyse, review, and approve or reject loan and credit applications based on authorised limits.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare delinquent account statements.
  • The candidate will be expected to assess and research the creditworthiness of the client.
  • The candidate will be expected to advise customers on commercial and personal financial services that are appropriate for their needs.
  • In order to expand the business, the candidate will be required to develop relationships with new and existing clients.
  • The candidate must make recommendations to improve the process.
  • The candidate will be expected to manage performance and oversee business development in order to support their company’s strategic direction and policies.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising the activities of credit departments in businesses.
  • The candidate will be required to create credit scoring models for risk assessments.
  • The candidate must follow up with clients in order to manage debt settlements and loan renewals.
  • The candidate must ensure that deposit, investment, and loan sales and services comply with regulatory and company policy requirements.
  • The candidate will be required to follow security procedures and report unusual (possibly fraudulent) activity.
  • The candidate will be expected to set sales goals and staff expectations.
  • The candidate will need to create customer service procedures.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assessing the performance of investment portfolios and ensuring compliance with regulatory organisation standards, such as investor disclosures, privacy laws, anti-money laundering requirements, and anti-fraud measures.
  • The candidate will be expected to stay current on relevant investment and trading news, as well as economic trends.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of investors’ funds, maximising returns, and providing timely advice to keep up with market trends.
  • The candidate will be responsible for determining acceptable risk levels for clients based on time frames, risk preferences, return expectations, and market conditions.
