Job Description

  • As an Investment Advisor, you will develop and nurture lasting client connections.
  • You will have the advantage of operating on your own terms and having the freedom of controlling your business.
  • You will partner with the customers to alleviate their financial worries and to reinforce their long-term ambitions.
  • You will work with the inclusive, supportive wealth management environment of RBC.

  • The position is full-time with a workweek of 37.5 hours in the Wealth Management part of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain connections with wealthy individuals, families, company owners, and charity organizations.
  • There will be personalized management of wealth and investment strategies.
  • Create and sustain relationships with clients that last for many generations.
  • Collaboration with RBC teams in the areas of banking and insurance.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, broad-minded, and having various academic/work backgrounds.
  • A sales professional with 4-6 years of outbound experience; advantage in getting used to 100% commission.
  • Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or plan to complete it before employment.
  • Independent, moral, understanding, and focused on a career in IA.
  • Strong working morale and readiness to spend time in order to gradually establish your business.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Previous related experience in financial services or direct marketing.
  • History of sales or business development in high-value areas.
  • Completion of CPH course, holding financial planner diploma, or having CIM designation.
