Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for using RBC Dominion Securities’ strong reputation to grow a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners and manage their financial requirements.
  • The candidate will be responsible for using RBC’s extensive investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans for clients.
  • The candidate must focus on building long-term, multi-generational relationships through consistent and personalized service.
  • The candidate must maintain strong partnerships with RBC teams such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to meet client needs.
  • The candidate must have strong people and problem-solving skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • The candidate will be responsible for taking initiative and managing their own workday.
  • The candidate will be required to focus on meaningful work that helps clients achieve their life goals through good financial guidance.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must have 4-6 years of outbound sales experience and be comfortable working on 100% commission.
  • The candidate must have completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Retail Securities Exam (RSE), or be able to complete them prior to the start date.
  • The candidate must be passionate about financial planning and genuinely interested in portfolio management.
  • The candidate must have a background in direct marketing within financial services and show success in high value sales and business growth, regardless of discipline.
  • The candidate must have strong relationship-building skills and be able to connect with all kinds of people.
  • The candidate must hold recognized certifications in Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
