Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to work with product teams to define and capture data modelling requirements.
- They’re also appointed to provide input and subject-matter expertise on future data products.
- Candidates are also appointed to produce detailed designs and document work using required standards, methods, and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate.
- They’re required to translate logical designs into physical designs working at this post.
- Candidates are appointed to find ways to improve code/scripts and system robustness, resilience, and stability.
- They’re appointed to advise on the right way to apply data development standards and methods, ensure compliance, and maintain technical responsibility for all the stages and iterations of a data development project.
- Candidates are appointed to lead a review of their work and that of colleagues.
- They’re required to mentor junior team members to promote a communal learning and knowledge-sharing culture and provide technical leadership to others.
Job requirement
- Candidates must acquire a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain 3+ years of experience working in very large data warehouse environments to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain 3+ years of demonstrated data developer experience in SQL development and report creation.
- They must have 3+ years of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence experience in a project environment.
- Candidates must have dedicated experience and proficiency with Data dimensional modelling, data analysis and data mining.
- Candidates must be self-driven and self-learner to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must be experts in writing and tuning SQL scripts and acquire experience with ETL and data warehouse automation tools to be eligible for this post.
