Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing childcare programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- The candidate will be responsible for storytelling.
- The candidate must synthesize the overall situation of the children and communicate this information to their parents.
- The candidate must assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- The candidate must lead activities such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
- The candidate must encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
- The candidate must engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.

Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 1 to 2 people.
- The candidate must have an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, a First Aid Certificate, and a CPR Certificate.
Work site environment
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The work site is non-smoking and air-conditioned.

- The candidate should work in a child care center, day nursery, or crèches, probably the most formal childcare setting.
- The candidate should work in a daycare center or nursery school; daycare centers also offer educational and recreational activities to help develop cognitive skills in children.
