Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for shampooing customers’ hair.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing hair and scalp conditions and providing basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair.
The candidate must colour, frost, or streak hair using bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses.
The candidate must apply hair extensions.
The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
The candidate must suggest a hairstyle that is compatible with the client’s physical features and preferences.
The candidate must perform receptionist duties.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
Candidate having experience is an asset.
The candidate should be client focused.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
The candidate must be flexible.
The candidate should be reliable.

Experience and specialization

Hair styling techniques

The candidate must be skilled in hair styling techniques such as blow drying and extensions.

Hair colouring techniques

The candidate must be skilled in hair colouring techniques such as bleaching and dyes/tints.
