- This is a temporary fixed term hourly position with Walmart Canada.
- The role contributes to department presentation, stock replenishment and customer support activities.
- Associates help maintain food quality standards and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Maintain department appearance and keep grocery aisles customer ready.
- Review product dates and remove damaged or outdated items.
- Update pricing, signage and product labels as required.
- Follow established procedures for markdowns, clearances and ordering activities.
- Apply food handling, cleanliness and cleanliness standards.
- Restock shelves and refill product locations.
- Complete downstocking activities when needed.
- Apply protective measures to selected products when required.
- Set up and maintain modular layouts and shelf configurations.
Requirements
- Can manage a busy workload in a fast moving retail environment.
- Can remain focused during overnight work periods when required.
- Can stand for long periods throughout the workday.
- Can bend, lift and move inventory, equipment or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Can perform repetitive duties involving replenishment, zoning and product organization.
- Can maintain close attention to detail during daily tasks.
- Can follow food safety practices and company guidelines.
- Can work effectively with customers and fellow team members.
