Job Description
- The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- The candidate will be required to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
- The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
- The candidate will be required to erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
- The candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, or replacing built-up roofing systems with materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
- The candidate will be required to install, repair, or replace a single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
- The candidate will be required to install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
- The candidate must install sheet metal flashings.
- The candidate must install and repair metal roofs with hand and power tools.
- The candidate will be required to install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
- The candidate must apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces beneath or above ground level.
