Job DescriptionÂ
- Candidates at this post are required to accurately report outcomes of work in progress, completed, & past due work working at this post.Â
- Applicants are also required at this post to monitor inventory order replacement parts and complete installs.Â
- They’re also appointed at this post to evaluate each piece of furniture to determine the type of wood and/or upholstery repairs, parts, and materials needed to complete the job.Â
- Candidates are also appointed at this post to refinish and patch damaged furniture including paint, stain, enamel or lacquers working at this post.Â
- They’re also appointed at this post to repair, replace and rebuild damaged wood, leather or upholstery furniture or mechanical parts working at this post.Â
- Candidates are also appointed at this post to operate tools such as power drills, sanders, saws, and other tools required for repair.Â
Job requirementÂ
- Candidates for this post must have at least 5+ years prior experience in furniture repair/construction to be eligible for this post.Â
- They must have an advanced understanding of repairing wood including colour and stain matching, and damage/defect repair.Â
- They must attain the ability to use power and hand tools to be eligible for this post.Â
- Applicants must have an advanced understanding of repairing upholstery and multiple fabric types to be preferred for this post.Â
- They must have high attention to detail and prioritize quality to deliver a perfect item to the customer to get preferred for this post.Â
Work settingÂ
- Candidates must be comfortable in lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and moving products 150+ lbs. Without any kind of assistance.
