Job Description

The candidate will be required to train or arrange for training.
The candidate will be expected to supervise workers and projects.
The candidate will be required to recommend personnel actions.
The candidate must devise methods to meet work schedules.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.
The candidate will be expected to coordinate and schedule activities.
The candidate will be expected to coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers.
The candidate will be required to requisition materials and supplies.

The candidate must be able to read blueprints and drawings.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum 5 or more years of working experience in similar industry.
The candidate must have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.

The candidate must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
The candidate should have an eye for details.
The candidate should be prepared for doing physically challenging tasks as part of daily work.

Own Tools/Equipment

Candidates are required to wear steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat and Safety glasses or goggles.

Work Site Environment

The candidate should be prepared to work under dangerous work conditions.
The candidate will be required to work in wet or damp, dusty, hot and cold environments.
The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours.
The candidate will be required to work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
The candidate should be able to work with full concentration even in noisy surroundings.
