Job description

• The candidate will be required to train staff in handling of food.
• The candidate will be required to supervise kitchen staff.
• The candidate will be required to take note of the helpers.
• The candidate will be required to manage kitchen operations.
• The candidate will be required to inspect kitchens.
• The candidate will be required to look after food service areas.
• The candidate will be required to clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate will be required to maintain inventory and records of food and supplies.
• The candidate will be required to maintain inventory and records of equipment.
• The candidate will be required to determine size of food portions.
• The candidate will be required to estimate food requirements.
• The candidate will be required to manage and estimate costs.
• The candidate will be required to monitor supplies.
• The candidate will be required to order supplies.
• The candidate is required to hire staff for service.
• The candidate is required to solve the grievances of the customer.

The Work Setting is a Resort.

Requirements

• The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The candidate should have an experience of at least 1 year to less than 2 years.
• The candidate should have Safe Food Handling certificate.
• The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should have interpersonal awareness.
• The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing and also walking which the candidate should be comfortable with.
• The candidate should be able to manage tight deadlines effortlessly.
• The candidate should be able to work under pressure.
• The candidate should be able to handle repetitive tasks.
• The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads.
• The work will be physically demanding and hence the candidate should also be comfortable with it.
