Fish inspector

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about Database software and the Internet.

Technical experience

  • The candidate must have technical experience in can, package, and container inspection, processing methods, handling methods, sanitation and hygiene, warehouse and storage facilities, processing facilities, and grading.

Area of work experience

  • The candidate must have work experience in fish processing.

Product inspection experience

  • The candidate must have experience in inspecting frozen products.

Geographical areas of specialization

  • The candidate must have specialized knowledge and experience in the geographical area of British Columbia.

Area of specialization

  • The candidate must have an area of specialization in saltwater fish.

  • The candidate must have their own transportation.
  • The candidate must have their own vehicle.
