Job Description
- Candidates will have to inspect building places and structures.
- Candidates will also have to confirm building a fire alarm system, sprinkler system, emergency power generator system, smoke control system, and others.
- Candidates will have to review alternate code solutions.
- Candidates will have to project work assigned by supervisory staff.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must have completed grade 12.
- Candidates must have a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator’s license.
- Candidates must have experience as a certified safety codes officer in another discipline.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
- Candidates must be certified FSCo B1 or B2 rank.
Work setting
- Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry or 5 years experience in municipal fire service
