Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
  • The candidate follows and ensures adherence to farm safety and biosecurity procedures.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising and overseeing growing and other crop-related operations.
  • The candidate must perform general farm duties.
  • The candidate must train staff.
  • The candidate must schedule work.
  • The candidate must maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings.
  • The candidate must develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal maintenance.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

  • The type of farm operation is other grain farming.
  • The candidate must harvest crops.

Work setting

  • The candidate should be willing to work in a rural area, where most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
  • The candidate should work in a staff accommodation that offers live-in facilities, provided by the employer, which provides housing to its employees.
