Job Description

  • The candidate must clean the crops.
  • The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
  • The candidate will be responsible for clearing fields of wood and stone.
  • The candidate will be responsible for grading vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume in order to fetch a high price in the market.
  • The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
  • The candidate must harvest vegetables by hand.
  • The candidate must harvest seedlings.
  • The candidate must mix the fertilizer.
  • The candidate must monitor animal health.
  • The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
  • The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • The candidate must perform seed cutting.
  • The candidate must shear and shape trees and plants with a knife.
  • The candidate will be responsible for training trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
  • The candidate must perform weeding.
  • The candidate must clean the work area.
  • The candidate will be responsible for fertilizing and spraying crops.
  • The candidate must harvest crops.
  • The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

  • The candidate must detect disease and health issues in crops, livestock, and poultry.
  • The candidate must examine the product’s quality and readiness for the market.

  • The candidate will be responsible for installing and monitoring water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cutting horticultural crops.
  • The candidate will be responsible for tracking and reporting on the current feed inventory.
  • The candidate must be able to handle animals.
  • The candidate must be familiar with soil fertility programs.
