Job Description
- The candidate will be in charge of cleaning the greenhouse.
- The candidate will be in charge of mixing fertiliser.
- The candidate will be in charge of soil fertility programmes.
- The candidate will be required to provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- The candidate will be expected to supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate will be expected to carry out general farm duties.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work site environment
- Farm operations include floriculture production, organic farming, and horticultural field crops.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
Experience and specialization
Type of crops
- The type of crop is a herb.
Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have prior experience with an automated irrigation system, a feeding and watering system, a fertiliser applicator, and a tractor.
