Job description

  • Needs to perform farm operations like Poultry and egg production.
  • Needs to work in dairy.
  • Needs to perform farm operations like chicken farming.
  • Needs to perform farm operations like Layer poultry farming.
  • Needs to perform general farm duties.
  • Needs to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • Needs to maintain work records and logs.
  • Needs to be comfortable working in a dangerous outdoor environment that is noisy with odor and is very dusty and hot.
  • Needs to supervisor round 3 to 4 people.
  • Remote work is available.

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate or diploma is required.
  • Experience will be considered an asset.
  • Should have experience in handling equipment and machinery.
  • Should know about an egg gathering system and bulk handling system.
  • Should have knowledge about milking system that is automated.
  • Should know about storage and silage system and about feeding and watering system.
  • Should expertise in automated and manual handling and storage system.
  • Should have specialization in poultry and Dairy cattle.
  • Should specialize in agricultural livestock service.
  • Should own steel toed safety boots.
  • Should have own transportation that is own vehicle and should have a valid driver’s license.
  • Should be willing to travel provided travel expenses will be paid by employer.
  • Should be comfortable in working in a fast paced environment and should be able to work under pressure.
  • The work will be physically demanding with a combination of sitting Standing and walking and hence the candidate should be comfortable with it.
  • Should pay attention to detail.
  • Should be able to handle large workload.
  • Should be able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Should be comfortable working in a rural area and remote location provided the staff accommodation will be given.
  • Should be a team player and should be very well organized.
  • Should have excellent oral communication and excellent written communication.
  • Should know English.
