Job Description 

  • Candidates who applied for this post are required to analyze large volumes of utility data using statistical analysis methods, interpret the results and report on insights and energy performance working at this post.
  • Candidates are also accountable for monitoring the energy consumption of City facilities and interpreting energy reports from energy monitoring software working at this post.
  • Candidates who applied for this post are required to Investigate utility bill irregularities and coordinate with end users and utility providers to resolve all bill discrepancies working at this post.
  •  Applicants who applying for this post are required to review drawings and specifications for new capital projects for energy-efficient design and attend related meetings as section representatives applied for this post.

Job requirement 

  • They must have a post-secondary diploma/degree in engineering, technology, or related field or any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have experience with fault detection and diagnostics software and/or energy analytics platforms, which is highly preferred for this post.
  •  Candidates must attain experience with analyzing large datasets and developing energy models to be eligible for this post.
  •  They must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in energy and utility management to be preferred for this post.
  • Candidates must attain knowledge of energy legislation and Green Building Standards, including LEED, to be eligible for this post.
  • They must attain the ability to read and interpret drawings and have strong problem-solving skills to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have experience and knowledge in Objective Oriented Programming like VBA, Python, C++, Java and others to be eligible for this post.
