Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to provide and ensure prompt and courteous member service.
- Candidates are also appointed to answer member questions, demonstrate products and explain features. Assists members in loading products into the cart.
- Candidates are also appointed to read industry magazines and product reviews to maintain current knowledge of technology and trends of sales area products.
- They’re also appointed to read literature and experiment with products to learn functions and specifications.
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to communicate with the Area Manager regarding quantity, status, price, delivery and promotion of merchandise.
- Candidates for this post are appointed to follow merchandising standards and practices.
- They’re also appointed to set up, clean and maintain product displays. Aligns and faces product to front, collects and returns stray items, and stocks to maintain high product levels.
- Candidates are appointed to check and approve products for member returns. Makes signs and checks the accuracy of product signage and marking.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a high School Diploma or GED to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates must acquire dedicated sales experience and will be given preference over other candidates to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must pass the Costco PC/Electronics knowledge test to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to participate in merchandise moves. Review lists of items for forklift drivers to place in the aisles for stocking. Stocks merchandise.
- They’re also appointed to organize security item lock-up. Clears debris from the sales floor and security lock-up. Sweeps floor.
