Job Description
- The candidate must apply multiple coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
- The candidate will be required to use a trowel and a broad knife to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
- The candidate must measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
- The candidate must position and secure sheets to metal or wood studs or joists.
- The candidate will be required to cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets.
- The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
Work setting
- The candidate will be required to work in both commercial and residential settings.
- The candidate will be required to work in various locations.
