As part of the Bell Business Markets team, you will contribute to the innovative service delivery for enterprise clients at scale. Job Description

  • This is a sales position for executive level, focusing on the defence and security domain. You will be reporting to the Vice President of Public Sector Sales within Bell Business Markets.
  • Dealing with federal public-sector customers government / defence.
  • Accountability for the growth of the business and strategic selling of new services, while managing a sensitive, highly regulated market.
  • Most likely involved in managing large accounts, and long sales cycles.
  • Requires strong knowledge of telecom, network, cloud or security technologies.
  • May involve establishing relationships with senior government and defence stakeholders.
  • A senior leadership role with considerable influence over Bell’s public sector strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and execution of the sales strategy for the Defence and Security market segment in the federal public sector, aiming at the realization of the revenue targets set.
  • Direct and assist the sales team to improve their performance.
  • Develop and deepen relationships with key government officials and federal leaders.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities to extend Bell’s reach in federal markets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline by providing precise forecasting and activity reporting.
  • Contribute to the company’s internal changes, communications, and engagement.
  • Monitor developments and trends in the federal government supply chain to implement new sales strategies and maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a similar discipline.
  • Ten years of sales experience or considerable experience in the Defense and Security sector of the federal government.
  • Excellent understanding of customer service, sales, marketing, and federal procurement processes.
  • Verified experience in the above mentioned telecom and digital services selling including fiber optic, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, and sovereign solutions.
  • Successful sales performance in the federal market that has been documented by company records.
  • Excellent leadership quality , communication, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce experience will be highly regarded).
